Glendale Unified School District Useful Links for Parents

Glendale Council PTA serves and represents the schools of the Glendale Unified School District. GCPTA serves as the governing body that oversees the activities of twenty-four (24) school unit PTAs and serves the Units in their pursuit of PTA programs by providing training and facilitating the flow of information from PTA.

This is accomplished through constant communication with the officers of the Units and in monthly Council Board meetings. The Board includes an Executive Committee of officers in addition to the PTA Presidents of the Units. GCPTA represents the Units in the California First District PTA, which governs PTAs from Pomona to Burbank. The California State PTA is divided into thirty-five geographical regions, which are the District PTAs. Each District is divided into multiple Councils. In turn the California PTA is a part of the National PTA.
